ADP The primary source of funding for custom orthopedic braces in Ontario is the Assistive Devices Program, which is administered by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long term Care.

Clients eligible for funding through ADP include residents of Ontario who hold a valid health card. For these clients ADP may cover up to 75% of the cost of custom braces which are designed to address long-term or chronic conditions, and assist with activities of daily living. These braces must be prescribed by a physician and provided by an orthotist who is certified by the Canadian Board for Certification of Prosthetists and Orthotists.
